St. John’s UMC is located at 3001 Lincoln Highway East, Gordonville, PA 17592. The church has a long history in Paradise, dating back to 1843. Over the years, many changes have occurred to the church building, the congregation, and the church’s name. However, one thing remains: our love for Jesus Christ and the Scriptures, and sharing that with everyone we meet.
On the second Sunday of each month, we host “Sunday Funday,” a more casual service featuring One Step Closer playing gospel music for one half hour before the church service, which starts at 10:00 am. The pastor plays the piano and shares a message of joy, hope, and love.
After the service at 11:00 am, you are invited to stay and enjoy delicious refreshments and fellowship. The library is open with puzzles, games, and lots of books. So, plan to stay awhile and enjoy the morning.
